Some places don’t just educate you … they shape your soul….For me, that sacred space is Little Angels Public School, where I studied from 4th to 10th standard. Even today… I often find myself lost in memories from those golden years. Every moment spent there feels like a piece of heaven, and if I had one wish, it would be to go back and relive those days just once more.
More than a school, Little Angels was a temple of learning, a sanctuary where I discovered who I truly am. I’ve had many beautiful experiences in life, but none come close to the joy, innocence, and comfort I felt during my school days.
The core of my school life was the incredible teachers — the real angels of Little Angels — who not only taught us subjects but gave us life lessons, discipline, compassion, and courage. I may have met hundreds of teachers after school, but none matched the warmth, wisdom, and impact of these amazing souls:
•    Ananth Sir – My math teacher, a true genius. His way of teaching logic and numbers made me fall in love with problem-solving.
•    Jayasudha Ma’am – Taught me Kannada. Her passion and energy lit up every class, and she had a way of making every student feel special.
•    Binu Ma’am – My science teacher and the reason I chose engineering. She awakened a curiosity in me that still drives my learning today.
•    Geetha Ma’am – My Hindi teacher. Even though Hindi wasn’t my favorite subject, her friendly smile and caring nature created a bond that lasts to this day.
•    Vinodha Ma’am – She taught me English in class 8. So soft-spoken and kind, she made the class feel peaceful and inspiring.
•    Reena Ma’am – My computer teacher. Gentle and humble, she helped me build confidence in technology without any fear or hesitation.
•    Pushpa Ma’am – The one I’m closest to even today. Her care felt like family, and her belief in me pushed me beyond my limits.
•    Usha Ma’am – Our librarian and the creative soul who gave me countless chances to decorate boards, make charts, and shine during school events. I owe much of my confidence to her.
•    Nakshatra Ma’am – Our Social teacher, a very senior teacher who used to scold us often, but every word came from a place of love and motivation. Her wisdom helped shape our character more than we realized back then.
•    Priya Ma’am – My primary school social teacher. Calm, motherly, and filled with kindness. She made our early school years so beautiful.
•    Cynthia Teacher – My Science teacher, She was strict, sharp, and full of energy, but behind that tough face was a heart that deeply cared for us. Her discipline taught us respect.
•    Meryl and Arjun Gowda – The two souls who brought out the sportsperson in me. Their encouragement and support gave me confidence not just on the field, but in life.
And above all, Jacinth Pereira Ma’am, our beloved principal. Elegant, disciplined, compassionate — she was the soul of the school. Under her leadership, the school felt like a family, a place where every child was safe, seen, and nurtured.
I’ll never forget the day I was nominated for school president. Watching a junior mischievously drop votes into my box while I stood on the school terrace — what fun, what memories. It was silly, it was innocent, and it was unforgettable.
No celebration, no festival, no victory in life has ever matched the pure joy of being a school kid at Little Angels. That place gave me not just an education, but the foundation of who I am today.
To every teacher, classmate, mentor, and memory — thank you for making those years so magical. You will forever be a part of me.
Little Angels Public School — you were my beginning, my journey, and my forever home.

With endless love,

Looking back on my school experience, I feel proud of the roles I had, including being the assistant School Pupil Leader (SPL) and the assistant captain of the yellow house. Meryl, our P.E teacher made life so much fun and always helped those who needed extra support in their studies and sports. My teachers and Hm  sir made learning enjoyable by keeping us entertained and engaged. I’ll never forget the day our principal mam called upon my sister and me during assembly to congratulate us for helping to raise funds for someone who was sick. I cherish the “no bag day” on Children’s Day, filled with gifts and treats. There is also an entire week dedicated to "Talents Week," where students showcase their skills, and the winner receives a special gift during Children's Day, where every student gets a present as well. The numerous celebrations that made school lively were wonderful, and it’s great to know that our school offered not just academics, but also a variety of cultural activities that made us excited to attend every day. I’m truly grateful for all the support and experiences that have prepared me for what comes next!

To the School That Shaped My Soul,

Some places stay with you forever—not because of their walls or buildings, but because of what they make you feel. Little Angels Public School wasn’t just where I studied; it was where I grew, fell, soared, and slowly transformed into the woman I am today.

I stepped into this school as a wide-eyed little girl in kindergarten, not knowing I was entering a place that would feel like home for over a decade. From then till tenth grade, it gave me more than an education—it gave me life.

Every facet of who I am—curious, expressive, driven, emotional—was not only accepted but nurtured. Here, I wasn’t asked to hide parts of myself. Instead, I was encouraged to explore, embrace, and evolve. Whether it was in academics, sports, or cultural pursuits, I was constantly met with opportunities to grow. I was taught to master my strengths, discover new talents, and rise beyond my own expectations.

This school didn’t just eliminate my stage fear; it taught me to own my voice. It didn’t just offer me textbooks; it taught me resilience. It became the stage where my confidence was built, piece by piece. And somewhere between morning assemblies and annual day rehearsals, I learned that the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb—because the bonds formed here are as sacred as family.

So many of my defining moments happened within these walls. I learnt what it meant to work hard, to fail with grace, and to stand up stronger. I spent the most significant years of my life here, and each one left behind a legacy in my heart.

Our principal was the very embodiment of strength and vision—kind, dynamic, and incredibly inspiring. She built this institution with relentless determination and grace. Through her, I learnt the quiet power of consistency and leadership.

The teachers, too, were nothing short of incredible. They balanced warmth with discipline and turned every classroom into a space of curiosity and care. They didn’t just teach subjects; they taught me how to think, express, and most importantly—believe.

And then, there were the friendships. Some became constants, others came to teach. All left their mark. I met people who truly saw me. Some celebrated my joy, some held me through storms, and some simply stood beside me in silence. Each of them became part of a mosaic that I now carry with love.

Little Angels wasn’t just a chapter—it was an entire book. One that shaped my foundation, taught me courage, and gifted me memories that glisten with love and nostalgia.

As I take my next steps, I carry with me the strength this place instilled in me, the grace it taught me to walk with, and the dreams it taught me to chase with unapologetic passion.

With a heart full of gratitude and eyes set on the future,

Little Angel Public School was a school that best suited my academic needs. Being at LAPS has been a whole rollercoaster. There were days when it was tough, and some were a breeze. In the end, no matter how hard times got, I’ve always managed to get through.

LAPS has taught me many skills that’ll be useful in the future. High school might have struggles, but the memories surpass them all. I didn’t just create bonds amongst students and friends, but also the teachers. I’ll never have this kind of relationship with any teacher than I have now. Thank you for sacrificing your time. Thank you for showing us how to survive our high school years. Thank you for being there for our health. Thank you for never turning your back on us when we got out of hand. In return, we will provide you with our success through college.

My experience at Little Angels public school has been wonderful. Whether it was at school or from home on my laptop, I always felt connected to my teachers and classmates. I was very grateful for this, especially during those hard times during COVID where we all felt isolated. Going into high school, I was insecure about myself, as most middle schoolers were, but after maturing and focusing on myself I became a much more confident and social individual. In the years I attended LAPS, I made so many amazing and deep friendships that I am so happy and thankful that I made and kept. The friends I had at LAPS are a huge part of the enjoyment I had during my years there.
